Leslie and Rob – Mayfield Sand Ridge Club

Leslie and Rob were married at Forest Hill Presbyterian Church and their reception was held at Mayfield Sand Ridge Club in South Euclid. I love the pictures of Leslie with her grandfather–what wonderful memories! Thanks to Amy for tagging along as my second shooter.

John Farrall, CFA - Andrew,
As a long time Mayfield Sand Ridge member, congratulations to Leslie and Rob in their new life together. My wife and I, back in 1998 held a wonderful reception there. Judging by your pictures, the magic of the event was well captured for them indeed.

Mark - Andy love the second to last image! Lost of good stuff in this post! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with this year!

Megan and Garrett – Greystone Hall Akron

Check out the amazing floral arrangements and beautiful cake from this wedding–wow! Megan and Garrett were married at Aurora Community Chapel and their reception was held at Greystone Hall in Downtown Akron. Greystone is one of my absolute favorite locations in the Akron area because of its beautiful ballroom and architecture. Amy was also shooting with me on this wedding.

The first  three images in this post were taken at Megan;s parents home. Her brothers reaction to seeing his little sister on her wedding day was priceless.

Hey Y’all!

My name is Sierra, and I am Andrew’s new assistant/second shooter. Andrew is the one who made up the title for this blog post. I said, “no, that’s weird.” Because I’m totally not, “country”, but I do love my cowboy boots, and I wear them often. At one point, I thought maybe I could get away with wearing them while shooting a wedding, but after wearing them for an all day date with my husband, my feet were killing me and I could barely walk by the end of it. So no, you won’t see me at your wedding wearing cowboy boots.

I met Andrew a year ago, when I asked if he would be willing to mentor me. After some really rough critiques, and some improvement on my part, he agreed to let me come along to a wedding. Basically, I passed the test, so here I am, his first ever employee. And you better believe we’re going to celebrate the “Employee of the Month”…every month, and maybe this year I’ll get one of those mugs for him that reads, “Boss of the Year”.

If you want to read more about me, and my family, check out my personal blog. If you’re reading this and you’ve booked a wedding with us, I look forward to meeting you!

Sierra

Amy Cameron - Congrats! I love your writing style…cracks me up. :) Can’t wait to see more.

Sarah - Yay! Do you get a special parking spot for employee of the month?

Heather and Dan – Quail Hollow Wedding

I have to say I think Heather and Dan had perfect weather for their wedding day. Their locations were equally wonderful. The wedding was in downtown willoughby, where we also shot most of the creative session. The reception and preparations were done at Quail Hollow in Painesville. Congratulations you two!
