Since I’m a bit behind on the blogging I am gonna go ahead and combine the engagement session and the wedding. This was a fun couple! For the engagement session Annie and Sean picked a location from my portfolio I had not used in a while. It was great to get back there and see what has changed as well as find some new spots. I love the last image of the series. This wall seasonally changes colors and makes a really great looking backdrop. This is the second full wedding ceremony and reception I have done at Botzum Farm. I love the look and feel of the location, you get a sense you are stepping back in time just a bit as you head up the drive and over the railroad tracks. The choice having the two old doors for the ceremony was a nice touch. Annie surprised Sean with a ride in a vintage car, with a little pushing on my part the owner went ahead and let Sean take it for a spin. Instead of a traditional wedding cake the couple hired a local ice cream truck to show up. It was a total hit and fit so well with the theme of the wedding. This was also my first wedding where I added cinema to the coverage. I have to say it was the perfect first movie I made. The vows were so personal and touching as was the first dance and the toasts. I was glad I push myself to do it and so was Annie and Sean.
And now for some wedding pics.
