After many failed attempts due to the horrible spring weather we had, I was finally able to meet up with Halle and Billy to get their engagement shots done and to spend some more time with them . I like doing these shoots for two reasons. first, it gives me and the couple an opportunity to get to know each other a bit more. I feel that it really helps things on the wedding day when we have had a chance beforehand to get to know each other a bit. Secondly, the shoot allows me as the photographer to get a feel for how the couple reacts in front of the camera. This helps set some expectations for all of us as to what it will be like on the wedding day. It’s a great practice run without all the pressure of wedding day nerves.
